Brew Fests and Group Events
Schools can host a fundraising event at the brewery where your organization can collect donations. Donations cannot be contingent on purchase of alcohol, but you can collect donations at the brewery. We can't donate based on proceeds from alcohol sales, but those schools chosen will also receive a donation from MDB in support of their programs benefiting students.

We are allowed to donate beer to a registered 501(c) nonprofit that has obtained a one-day special event license to purchase beer or receive donated beer to re-sell. A copy of the license is required in order to process your request. Beer must be consumed on site.

We are also allowed to donate beer to an organization that is holding a private event (not open to the public, no charge for admission, and no sales of alcohol) that is being held at an unlicensed location.

We regularly have ticketed events at the brewery. If available, donations of tickets for shows are an option to be used in a raffle or auction.
